Information on official, working, and unofficial meetings of the President of Russia is usually widely known. Nevertheless, collected in a book, the President's working diary appears to be a sort of summary of the activities of the head of the state. This specific diary includes reference information on the issues discussed, the President's interlocutors, the background of various events, which adds the required depth to the "telegraphic" style of official bulletins that, as a rule, escapes public notice in the flow of daily news.
