Slavic historian, specialist in modern history of the Ukraine and Czechoslovakia. Received fundamental training at the chair of history of Southern and Western Slavs of the historical faculty of the Moscow State University. In 1993, defended a Ph.D. history thesis with the topic «Czechoslovakia and Russian farming movement in the 1920s». Since 1997, has been working at the RAS Institute of Slavic studies. Her sphere of scientific interests includes various aspects of Russian-Slavic contacts in the 20th century, incl. relations between the USSR central authorities and the Ukrainian SSR in the course of implementation of Soviet national state construction policy in the 1920s-1930s.
