Yesaulov A.

Essaulov Alexander Yourievich (b.1952). Has lived in the city of Pripyat from November 1980, where he was appointed to lead the newly created financial department of the city, moved there from Kiev. In November 1985 was elected to the post of deputy chairman of executive committee of Pripyat city soviet of peoples deputies. Took active part in the recovery works from the very first hours after the Chernobyl NPP accident. Following the expiration of the city council’s powers he has taken executive posts in the Institute of Atomic Studies of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, «Specatom Production Association», president of Ukrainian ecological fund. Currently he is the technical director of the Institute of support and maintenance of Nuclear Power Plants
