Maliavin Vladimir
Heads the Institute of Russia studies at Tam-Kang University (Taiwan)
Vladimir Malyavin (born 1950), Chinologist and culturologist, has authored about 30 books. Has graduated from the Institute of Oriental languages at the Moscow State University named after Mikhail Lomonosov. Has taught and engaged in research at the Moscow State University, the USSR Academy of Sciences, as well as various universities of Japan, China, the US, France. At present, heads the Institute of Russia studies at Tam-Kang University (Taiwan).
