Airapetov Oleg

Born on 6 January, 1943 in Akhtubinsk, a small town on the Lower Volga. In 1990, graduated from the historical faculty of the Moscow State University, specializing in 19th – early 20th century history of Russia. In 1990, started postgraduate studies. In 1994, defended a Ph.D. thesis, most of which was included in the monograph «Forgotten career of «Russian Moltke». General N.N.Obruchev (1830-1904)».
Since 1992, started working at the chair of 19th – early 20th century history of Russia as assistant lecturer; since 1997 to date, assistant professor. Specializes in matters of Russia’s military and foreign policy. Has 73 publications in Russian, English, Serbian, Polish and Japanese, including 2 monographs.
